Meet the Founder
Olya Loshkin is the founder of LOSHKINS, a professional communication and workplace training consultancy dedicated to helping organizations build stronger, more inclusive teams. With more than 14 years of experience as a college professor and communication specialist, Olya has taught at Fanshawe College, Niagara College, Centennial College and George Brown College, supporting internationally trained professionals and newcomers in developing the communication skills needed to thrive in the Canadian workplace.
Throughout her career, Olya has designed and delivered Occupation-Specific Language Training (OSLT) programs across a wide range of industries, including business, healthcare, technology, marketing, sales, and project management. Her work has helped professionals successfully transition into meaningful careers, advance into leadership roles, and confidently navigate workplace communication in Canada.
Combining academic expertise with practical workplace insight, Olya develops training that is engaging, culturally responsive, and aligned with the communication expectations of today's employers. She holds advanced degrees in education, is OCELT/TESOL certified, and has completed additional professional development in business and project management.
Through LOSHKINS, Olya partners with organizations to strengthen workplace communication, improve onboarding and employee integration, and support the long-term success of internationally educated professionals. She is passionate about helping businesses create environments where employees communicate with confidence, collaborate effectively, and contribute at their highest potential.
